Piermont, NY is a very special and beautiful village of 2,500 people, tucked neatly on the west bank of the majestic Hudson River. A favorite training route destination for cyclists in the NYC metropolitan region, it’s a nice 60-mile round-trip training route if you leave from the Brooklyn Bridge.
The way out is fast, really fast as you keep descending hills and drop right into Piermont. At 30 miles, you can either keep going or stop at one of the local cafés like Bunbury’s. If this is your turn around point, watch out because what goes up, must come down and in this instance, if you plan on getting back to NYC or Brooklyn, you must go up. Warm up the legs, spin it out and be ready to climb.
Just as Piermont, NY is a very special place for the cyclist on a training ride, Grimpeur Bros.' Piermont Single Origin is a special coffee from Ethiopia featuring white grape, ripe peach, apricot, honeysuckle, papaya, sweet black tea, supple mouthfeel.
